When you are designing, often it is designing to solve a problem. What can I create that will solve this problem or what would work better in this situation are two questions that you should be asking when you want to design.

Designing To Solve A Problem

Emily Nelson says “My second son had reflux, and I found that the cute burp cloths I had with ribbons and appliques did not absorb spit-up,” says Nelson. “They looked good, but they were not practical.”

She designed a baby burp cloth that works and plans to be selling to 12 stores before the end of this year.
